Dear Friends,
I would like to thank all members of the Editorial board, the Section Editors, and the Editorial staff for their efforts and support in making 2013 a good year for the Journal of Clinical Imaging Science (JCIS).
We had over 106,000 visitors to the website during the year 2013. Of these, 85% were first time visitors. These visitors were from the USA (36%), India, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Turkey, and South Korea. Also, we received a greater percentage of Original Articles in comparison to Case Reports during the year.
I am pleased to announce our inclusion in Scopus in addition to PubMed. This will allow us to be included in science citation index. We expect to have an impact factor by the beginning of 2015.
You may be aware that the best original research paper published in the Journal of Clinical Imaging Science will win an iPad and a Certificate of Excellence. All Original Articles received until March 31, 2014, will be included in the competition. The articles will be reviewed as per the guidelines and criteria that have been defined and communicated to the panel of judges.
As the number of manuscripts received by the journal have increased significantly, we invite you to participate as a reviewer on our panel. Please send us your complete resume, area of specialization/interest and contact details to editor@clinicalimagingscience.org.
If you have any suggestions to make the JCIS better, please do not hesitate to send your suggestions to me.
I wish you and your families a wonderful 2014.
